No matter if dry or moist conditions, the X1 Wet 'N Dry foam offers the ultimate in grip combined with outstanding qualities under numerous field conditions. It gives the keeper the utmost in safety and ball control. The additive in the foam also makes it wear longer.
Backhand of glove: Super Softi foam all over. Embossed foam design makes the
glove more flexible at many breakpoints. Our new stretchable P.U. backhand
material makes for more flexibility for the hand and an even tighter, more
comfortable fit. The new Wrist Bandage PLUS cuff design makes the glove more
flexible in the wrist area.
Construction: The optimal fit and catching zone provided by our Revolutionary ESS (Ergonomic Support System) cut uses a pattern that helps the fingers to be pre-splaying (spread so the keeper has better hand position on the ball). Ergonomic Palm Embossing for additional flexibility, Expanded Finger Tops (EFT), flex cuts on the backhand, Rolled Thumb Construction. All these features support the hand's natural position and provide the largest possible catching zone. Our patented visible Ortho-Tec stay is a two-piece duel
density stay. This new stay is lighter and more convex so that it fits the shape
of the finger, allowing for a slimmer and less bulky, better fit. These
Ortho-Tec flexible finger protectors run up the fingers, locking as the finger
goes back reducing the chance of injury. They are removable, making the glove
easy to customize. By removing these protectors, the keeper may cut them to
reduce the size, remove them if the keeper does not want them in a particular
finger, or replace them if they break. The finger protectors are in all fingers
AND the thumb. The new cut has a deeper thumb notch on the face of the glove
that includes an elasticized piece below the foam to help eliminate tear out. We
also are using an elasticized thread throughout the glove to help eliminate any
tear out. Our AirVentSystem uses a highly breathable Air Mesh material that ensures optimal air circulation within the glove. Side mesh vents allow this glove to keep cooler during match play.
